Tryouts

The 1st tryout date will be Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 8 am - Noon at the Cloverdale Coverall, 176th and 62nd st, Cloverdale. The cost for the tryout camp will be $40.00. Please pre-register on the tryouts page.

The 2nd tryout date will be Saturday, December 9th, 2023 from 9 am - Noon at the Poirier Forum, 618 Poirier St, Coquitlam. If you attend and pay for the 1st camp the 2nd is free, otherwise it will be $40.00. It is recommended to plan to attend both camps as it will allow the coaches the most opportunity to see you!

The tryout fee is non-refundable. If you do not make the team this money will be used towards funding the team's participation at the games. We expect to carry as many as 30 players initially with this number being cut down to less than 15 in the spring. There will be some commitments outside of the games week itself to allow the coaches to work with the team and the players to bond! We will be working around club teams schedules.

UPDATE: Tryouts are now complete. Thank you to all who came out! We have advised the players who have advanced to the next round of selections. We will be scheduling a couple of practices and winding up with a couple of scrimmages in March to help us bring the roster down to the final 15! Stay tuned!

Coaches

We are pleased to announce that Hannah Dawkins has been selected as the head coach for the 2024 Zone 4 BC Summer Games team. Hannah was an assistant coach on the 2022 BC Summer games team and currently coaches on the U19A Cloverdale Fury 06 team. Her full bio is on the tryout page. Hannah is one of the youngest Summer games coaches and we know that will help her connect with her players and bring a positive, energetic outlook to the team. We are in the process of selecting the assistant coaches!

Answer: We have the initial tryout fee ($40.00) all expenses (food, accomodation) during the games are covered by the games as part of your registration. There is a $250.00 per player BC Summer games registration fee for players selected to the team.
