Webinar | What’s Next After HOP Principles? The Role of HOP Champions

Organizations beginning their HOP journey tend to focus their early efforts on raising awareness of HOP principles without clearly understanding how to achieve comprehensive safety management transformation with them.

As a global HOP program manager at BP and Baker Hughes, Dr. Marcin Nazaruk experienced this challenge firstand. Integrating HOP into existing processes like investigations or risk assessments demanded new skillsets that were not achievable through mainstream safety education or simple awareness training.

This led to the “competency pathway”, a combination of modern safety thinking and learning to improve existing processes by applying practical tools from a range of disciplines.

Join Dr. Nazaruk as he delves into key elements of HOP implementation strategies, roles and responsibilities of HOP champions and much more.
