In Loving Memory of Carlos DaCosta

Hey, my name is Lucas, and I'm 18yrs old. Around an hour ago my uncle called me to wake my mother (his sister) up to answer his phone call. Minutes after waking up my mom, she had told me and my dad horrible news about her brother's father-in-law passing away. Carlos (my Uncles Father-in-law), was a beautiful person who my family and I were close to for over 15+ years, he was a loving father, husband, and amazing human being in general, he was also an extremely hard worker as even before his hospitalization he remained working at his job to support his family.

In a week's time (last week) he suffered an aneurysm as well as kidney failure, because of this he was hospitalized since, due to the illness his right leg was severely ill from the aneurysm, and amputation was required. On Nov 28 he had 2 operations and remained in code blue, as his amputation surgery was planned for later today (Nov 29) but, as stated an hour ago we received the horrible news as Carlos had passed away from a heart attack.

The funds received from this gofundme will be used for his funeral services as well as other percussions needed for this unfortunate event. His family, my uncle, and my family don't have very much funds to pay for his services but I am creating this as a way to help and create a brief moment of relief and assurance knowing everything will be okay.

I know this will probably not get recognized but even consideration for Carlos, his wife, daughter, my uncle, and my family. Thank you beautiful people for your time, and we are praying that we can get through this heartbreaking event.
