Disability Special Report – Share Your Experiences!

Are you a young person with a disability who is also involved with the child intervention or youth justice system?

OR

Do you care for, support, or work with young people with disabilities who are involved in either of these systems?

We want to hear from you!

We are writing a report about what life is like for young people with disabilities who are part of the child intervention or youth justice systems. We would like to learn more about what sorts of things are helpful and make life better and what sorts of things make life harder and should be changed. Watch our video to learn more about this project.

For this report, we are defining disability as:

“A long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory conditions that may interact with various barriers to make it harder for a person to have full and equal participation in society.”
