SPS is hosting a half-day workshop for women that are interested in learning more about a career in policing. Featuring hands-on activities, team building exercises, and presentations from female officers. This event is now sold out, however check back for future workshop opportunities!

Join us for an in-person information session where you will learn all about career opportunities with SPS and what it takes to become a recruit.

This is your opportunity to meet and speak with recruiters about the application process, learn more about who we are, and find out how you can be part of a new, progressive police service.

Information Sessions

Surrey Police Service will be holding information sessions for recruits every two months. If you are interested in becoming a police officer, attending an information session is a mandatory part of your application process. You will be asked during the process to indicate which information session you attended. 

Information sessions will cover a variety of topics including, the vision. values and history of SPS, basic qualifications, what we're looking for in a candidate, the application process, realities of policing, salary and benefit information, and a period of questions and answers where you can speak to recruiters.
