KAIROS, member churches and partners call on Canada to publicly reject the U.S. administration’s “Peace to Prosperity Plan”

KAIROS joins member churches and ecumenical partners around the world in denouncing President Trump’s “Deal of the Century” or “Peace to Prosperity Plan” as a flagrant violation of international law that will entrench occupation and lead to greater suffering of the Palestinian people.

KAIROS has written an open letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urging the Government of Canada “to renew its commitment to lasting peace by publicly rejecting this plan, immediately addressing the worsening humanitarian situation for Palestinians and working towards a just peace agreement rooted in the spirit of international law and human rights.”

KAIROS is also compiling letters and statements of member churches, international ecumenical partners and Palestinian and Israeli partners.
