Annual Conference

The 2024 Annual Conference will be held in partnership with Plant Canada in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It will take place July 6 to 10, 2024.

Graduate Student’s ‘Green’ Bagger Sessions

The Canadian Society of Agronomy is pleased to announce the return of our Green Bagger Presentation Series. We are currently looking for student presenters to share their research proposals, early project finding or completed research with the CSA community.

Our Green Bagger events have proven to be a  great way to connect graduate students studying agronomy and provide a positive and supportive platform for your scientists to share their research and help prepare them for live oral presentations at future CSA meetings.

Held over Zoom, presentations are 13 minutes long and are followed by a 5 minute Q&A session. As these presentations are aimed at the graduate student community, preference will be given to graduate students asking fellow graduate students questions.

All CSA Graduate Student Members are eligible to present. CSA Graduate Student Memberships are $30 for the year. In addition to having the opportunity to present at Green Bagger events, CSA Graduate Student Members are eligible for many cash travel and presentation awards at the CSA Annual Conference including:

Graduate students interested in making a presentation should contact Marcie Wilson and indicate their name, school, supervisor, degree, presentation title and their preferred presentation date.
