Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast
We are excited to announce our 48th Annual Civic Pancake Breakfast will be back again this early summer!
Held rain or shine, this year's breakfast is on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. outdoors beside Civic Square at 23rd Street and 4th Avenue.
$7 gets you delicious pancakes(with topping choices!), sausages, coffee, tea, or juice.
This much-loved fund raising event always kicks off summer and brings our community together. We're planning for a great lineup of diverse musical performers, dancers and entertainment on our community stage. There will be vehicle displays, information booths, local celebrity pancake flippers and as always - fun mascots and popular relay races to watch! All breakfast proceeds are donated to our charity partner, United Way Saskatoon & Area.
At a time when kindness is needed more than ever, we will again offer Act of Kindness Breakfast tickets for purchase and pinning to our Kindness Board. Last year, 100 people were able to enjoy a hot breakfast purchased for them by a stranger! (and, 83 Act of Kindness unused breakfast tickets were donated back to United Way Saskatoon & Area!) We are sure the momentum for the Kindness Board will continue. The Act of Kindness Board is sponsored by Saskatoon City Employees Credit Union.
The City of Saskatoon can’t hold this fundraising event without the many valued breakfast sponsors who offer their generous support to make our community breakfast a yearly success! As we confirm, we will list all of them here, be sure to check back for updates!
Last year, our Pancake Breakfast raised over $11,000 for United Way Saskatoon & Area, our highest donation to date! This year, we are aiming to break our donation target - again! Save the Date! Plan to attend and bring your friends. Join us!
For over 50 years, United Way Saskatoon & Area has been working to positively impact the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and their families in our community by identifying and addressing barriers.
The City is proud to donate annually to United Way Saskatoon & Area, to help make our community better for everyone.
