International Student Quarantine Information

Only students with a Study Permit Approval letter or Valid Study Permit are permitted to travel to Canada. If you have one of these documents, please fill out the Quarantine Submission Form below for review.

We highly recommend that you submit your quarantine plan 2 - 4 weeks before your travel date. Completing your plan too early may result in a letter dated too early for immigration purposes.
 
Before travelling, you must be aware of when you can travel, and you must fill out your travel form:
 
1. Know your travel window, or when you can travel to Canada
 
New students:
Arrive no more than 3 weeks prior to the start of classes.
 
Current students:
Arrive no more than 3 weeks prior to an upcoming semester and avoid travel during your academic breaks. Ensure you travel to Canada at least 1-2 months prior to the end of your program, if your plan to apply for a PGWP inside Canada.
 
All Students:
All students who arrive in Canada will take a mandatory PCR COVID-19 test at the airport upon their arrival.
 
2. Receive your travel letter:
 
Please select the appropriate traveler form to complete based on your vaccination status.  
 
The Government of Canada determines fully vaccinated travelers as those who:
 
A. have received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine or a combination of accepted vaccines.  Please see a list of accepted vaccines here
 
B. have received your last dose at least 14 days prior to the day you enter Canada
a. Example: if your last dose was anytime on Thursday July 1st, then Thursday July 15th would be the first day that you meet the 14 day condition
b. Please note, partial vaccination (completion of 1 dose out of 2) will not be exempt from quarantine.
