World Athletics Relays – Silesia 2021 (May 1-2)
Media accreditation is now open!
In order to access the World Athletics online Accreditation Registration System, Canadian written press and photographers will need an Accreditation Access Code. Please submit your request for the code via email to amanda.nigh@athletics.ca. If approved, we will send you the code that will grant you access to the online system.

Upon registration, you will be able to:
- Apply for accreditation.
- Request visa invitation letters.
- Submit accommodation requests.
- Upload travel details and documentation.
World Athletics has introduced a new form of accreditation called ‘Remote Journalist’ for members of the media that are not able to be on-site for the event. This type of accreditation will help media representatives gain access to the event and the athletes – specially access to the mixed zone and to possibly ask questions. Videos will also be available for download following the end of the session.
The accreditation procedure of the Remote Journalist category will be the same as for on-site media and specific instructions will be sent once approved.
All non-rights holders (TV and radio) can register through the World Athletics Series Broadcasters Accreditation System: https://www.wasaccreditation.net/wasbas/. First time users will need to set-up an account.
