About J.L. Benson

J .L. Benson is the author of “The Damaged Series” for young adults, and has been writing for decades. With a bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a degree in library science, J.L. Benson is currently working as a librarian. Growing up in a very small town in Ontario, Canada, J.L. Benson sought ways to escape and began writing at the age of six.

J.L. Benson is an avid music fan, and obsessively follows the same bands. One band she has seen 67 times and will continue to follow! J.L. Also has an extensive Edgar Allan Poe collection, as he is her favourite author.

Aside from writing, her other hobbies include watching horror movies, true crime documentaries, reading, baking, home decor, and staying in with her beloved Maine-Coon cat Isaac.
