We acknowledge that BCTC’s office is on the shared ancestral territories of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa and Syilx Nations and is home to the Métis and many diverse Indigenous Peoples. We carry out our work respectfully on the land of Indigenous Peoples throughout British Columbia. We are grateful for the continuing relationship with Indigenous Peoples that develop through our work together.
The BC Touring Council is committed to fair and equitable treatment, representation and prosperity for all peoples in our communities, our industry and indeed around the globe. We condemn all forms of racism, discrimination, intolerance, and bigotry and are determined to combat these. BCTC is committed to exercise leadership and bring any required changes to our policies, initiatives, and practices to best support communities and address the root causes of inequalities. We would like to acknowledge that our organization still has farther to go to achieve this mission, and will be reflecting on the meaningful actions we need to take to get there. We welcome any communication from our members and participants to help us get there.
