2022 EPR Plan Consultation

The BC Used Oil Management Association (BCUOMA) is seeking stakeholder input on our revised Extended Producer Responsibility Plan that we intend to present to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy on December 1, 2022 for their review and approval.

Before submitting the revised plan to the Ministry, BCUOMA is required to hold a public consultation process on the proposed amendments and we look forward to receiving your feedback.

Public Consultation Period: September 7 to November 1, 2022 (NOW CLOSED)

BCUOMA will be holding the following Consultation Sessions:

VIRTUAL (via Zoom):

• Virtual Session 1: Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10am PT
• Virtual Session 2: Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10am PT

Note: links to virtual sessions will be sent to the email address provided in this registration 24-48 hours prior to the start of the event.

IN PERSON:

• In-Person Session 1: Thursday, September 22, 2022 for attendees at the Southern Interior Waste Managers Association (SIWMA) Conference in Salmon Arm, BC (Time TBC, registered conference attendees only)
• In-Person Session 2: Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 4pm PT at the Coast Waste Management Association (CWMA) Conference in Victoria, BC
