Canada, the United States, Jamaica, and Panama have been drawn together in Group A for the group stage of the 2023 Concacaf W U-20 Championship set to be played from 24 May to 3 June in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This will mark Canada’s tenth appearance in the competition, having lifted the trophy twice in program history in 2004 and 2008.

The 12th edition of the Concacaf W U-20 Championship will be hosted at both the Estadio Felix Sanchez and Estadio Panamericano. After round-robin play, the two best teams from each group will advance to the competition’s knockout stage. All knockout stage matches (semifinals, third-place match, and final) will be played in a single-match elimination format, with the two finalists and the third-place match winner qualifying for 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Group A – United States, Canada, Jamaica, Panama
Group B – Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic

Despite Canada and the United States significant competitive history at the Concacaf W U-20 Championship, this will be the first time the two nations meet in the group stage of the competition. This will also mark the fifth time Canada meets Jamaica and the second time they meet Panama at the earlier stage of the competition.

All of Canada’s matches will be broadcast live on OneSoccer. Fans will find extended coverage for the matches across Canada Soccer’s digital channels on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Tik Tok featuring the hashtag #canw20.
