The FIFA Ticketing Office is responsible for all ticketing to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and has established the regulations for distributing tickets to supporters of participating nations. Canada Soccer will have an allotment of tickets to distribute to Canada Soccer’s fans for all of Canada’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ matches, in coordination with the FIFA Ticketing Office.
WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ AS A CANADA SOCCER FAN?
First, all applicants for Canada Soccer’s allotment must be an active CanadaRED member, at any level. In addition, Canada Soccer encourages all of the applicants’ guests to be a CanadaRED member, at any level. Membership is free at the CanadRED base level. Guests are individuals that would use the applicants’ other purchased tickets. Guests that are 13 years old or younger do not need to register to become an Insider.
Fans who are not currently CanadaRED members and would like to apply for tickets have until April 26 at 11:59PM ET, to become a member at any level. In addition current CanadRED and CanadaRED+White members will have until April 27 to upgrade their membership level to provide accelerated access to the corresponding levels of CanadaRED+White and CanadaRED+ Gold respectively. The weighted random draw will use the tier level for CanadaRED accounts as of April 27.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR TICKETS FROM CANADA SOCCER’S ALLOTMENT OF FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ TICKETS?
CanadaRED members can apply for tickets to all Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team matches at any time between April 21-April 28, by accessing a FIFA Ticket Office portal exclusively for Canada Supporters. CanadaRED members will receive a link and unique access code to gain entry to the portal via email from Canada Soccer. The access code will only be available for one-time use and cannot be shared. CanadaRED members interested in applying for tickets should use the email address registered with their CanadaRED account to be allocated in the proper group for the weighted random selection draw for tickets.
The application process is not first-come, first-served and fans can apply at any point during the application window.
I AM A CANADA SOCCER FAN UNDER THE AGE OF 18. CAN I SUBMIT A TICKET REQUEST?
Canada Soccer fans under the age of 18 whose families wish to purchase tickets must have a parent/guardian above the age of 18 apply for tickets. Anyone under the age of 18 can be added to an application as guests.
DOES BEING A CANADARED MEMBER AND COMPLETING THE APPLICATION PROCESS GUARANTEE ME FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ TICKETS?
No. CanadaRED members who apply through the FIFA Ticket Office portal are not guaranteed tickets as the number of tickets requested may exceed the allocation available.
In the event that the number of tickets requested by fans exceeds the allocation available for any price category for any game, a weighted random selection draw will be conducted to determine which applicants are awarded tickets.
CanadaRED+GOLD members have the best access to tickets because they will have access to the first draw and each subsequent draw afterwards.
Canada Soccer will conduct a weighted random draw to allocate tickets for fans within the Canada Soccer ticket allotment. The process will ensure that those interested have a fair opportunity to attend FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Matches.
Draw 1 – Group A
Draw 2 – Group B + anyone not selected from Draw 1
Draw 3 – Group C + Anyone not selected in Draw 2
Group A = CanadRED+GOLD members
Group B = CanadaRED+WHITE members
Group C = CanadaRED members
HOW MANY TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE CANADA SOCCER ALLOTMENT?
FIFA provides Canada Soccer with a variable percentage of tickets for each of Canada’s matches based on stadium capacity. The larger the capacity of the stadium, the greater the amount of tickets Canada Soccer will have for purchase.
ARE THERE LIMITS TO THE NUMBER OF FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ TICKETS A CANADA SOCCER FAN CAN REQUEST?
Yes. FIFA ticket sales regulations include certain limits per household for anyone requesting tickets. These limits also apply to all Canada Soccer fans. A household may apply for a maximum of six (6) tickets per match and maximum of sixty (60) tickets for the whole tournament. One cannot apply for Individual Match Tickets on FIFA.com AND tickets within the Canada Soccer allotment for the same match. An individual must apply via FIFA.com OR the Canada Soccer allotment, not both.
Important to note: Those who submit requests for tickets beyond the household limits stated above (whether through a single request or by combining applications made during various sales phases) risk having all requests for tickets ultimately declined and/or revoked (including those previously confirmed).
Please also note that the online order page will not automatically conduct checks on limits when you submit your request. Instead, the request submitted is checked after the sales window has concluded in combination with all other requests received. Please ensure that you do not exceed the stated combined household limits when submitting your request either through the Canada Soccer portal or any earlier or later ticket sales phases through FIFA.com.
TO WHAT MATCHES CAN CANADA SOCCER FANS APPLY FOR FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ TICKETS FROM CANADA SOCCER’S ALLOTMENT?
Canada Soccer’s allotment is for tickets to Canada matches only, including each of Canada’s three Group Stage matches. Canada Soccer fans also have the opportunity to request conditional tickets for Canada’s possible knockout round games, including the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final/Third Place Game. Conditional tickets will be issued only if Canada advances.
Supporter Tickets (ST) – Individual match tickets available for each of the three (3) Group Matches that will be played by Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team during the Group Stage.
Conditional Supporter Tickets (CST) – Individual match tickets available for each of the knockout round matches that could be played by Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team. CSTs are conditional on Canada qualifying for the match; otherwise the tickets cease to exist and a refund will be owed.
WHAT IS A CONDITIONAL TICKET?
Anyone who applies for a ticket to follow Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team for matches in the knockout rounds will be applying for a conditional ticket, which will be valid only if Canada advances. Applicants will be required to use a payment card to pay the full amount for all tickets up front. Should Canada fail to advance to a stage of the tournament for which someone has purchased a ticket, then the ticket purchaser will receive a refund to the payment card used, minus a 40QAR (Qatari Riyal) service fee per ticket, which is approximately $14 depending on the exchange rate at the time of the refund.
CAN I APPLY FOR TICKETS TO NON-CANADA WORLD CUP MATCHES?
Yes, however not through Canada Soccer. Canada Soccer fans may apply for tickets to non-Canada FIFA World Cup matches by submitting a ticket application directly through FIFA. Fans should visit the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ Ticketing page at FIFA.com/tickets for more information. If fans are successful in obtaining tickets through this method, they will be seated with other international fans in an International General Public area. Canada Soccer fans will be seated with other Canada fans only if they apply for tickets from Canada Soccer’s allotment.
Please remember, however, that the household ticket limits apply to all tickets purchased regardless of how, when or in which phase they were purchased. A household may apply for a maximum of six (6) tickets per match and a maximum of sixty (60) tickets for the whole tournament. These limits include all sales phases and applications combined.
CAN I SPECIFY SEAT LOCATIONS OR REQUEST SEATS ADJACENT TO ANOTHER APPLICANT?
Tickets will be broken into three categories/price levels. The ticket application will give applicants the opportunity to choose which category or categories of tickets they prefer but will not allow any more specifics beyond this. FIFA does not offer the option to request adjacent seats to another group or purchaser.
HOW MUCH WILL TICKETS COST?
Tickets are available in three different categories. Each stadium is configured differently; therefore, the general category descriptions (listed below) should not be considered definitive in each circumstance.
Category 1: Highest priced and located in prime areas within the stadium
Category 2: Located outside of the Category 1 area
Category 3: Most affordable category, and located outside of the Category 1 and 2 areas
Category 4: Tickets in this category are available only to Qatar residents

I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED TICKETS TO THE FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™. CAN I ALSO APPLY FOR MORE TICKETS AS A CANADA SOCCER FAN?
Yes. Please remember, however, that the household ticket limits apply to all tickets purchased regardless of when or in which phase they were purchased. If you were successful during a previous phase in purchasing first-round tickets prior to the Final Draw which set all of the First Round match-ups, it is possible that some of the tickets previously purchased are for Canada Soccer matches. Please be aware of this and the household limits detailed above prior to making a request for additional tickets.
WHAT ARE FIFA’S TICKET SALES REGULATIONS? AND DO THEY APPLY TO CANADA SOCCER FANS?
Yes, they apply to Canada Soccer Fans. Any person wishing to purchase FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ tickets as well as any guests of the purchaser will be bound by FIFA’s Ticket Sales Regulations (which include household limits on the number of tickets each purchaser can obtain), General Terms and Conditions and Stadium Code of Conduct. HOW AND WHEN WILL CANADA SOCCER FANS KNOW WHETHER THEIR FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ TICKET REQUESTS ARE APPROVED?
After the ticket application window for Canada Soccer’s allotment closes on April 28 at 5:00 ET, the FIFA World Cup Ticketing Office will contact all applicants directly to confirm whether or not the request for tickets was successful.
Should you be successful in your application for tickets, your payment card will be immediately charged the full amount noted during the application process (including the cost of conditional tickets).
After, the ticket application window for Canada Soccer’s allotment closes on April 28, Canada. Soccer will conduct the weighted random draw for tickets in mid to late May. Following the conclusion of the draw, all applicants will be notified of their ticket status. Around May 31, the FIFA World Cup Ticketing Office will contact all successful applicants directly on the next steps for ticket payment.
IF I AM SUCCESSFUL IN APPLYING FOR FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ TICKETS THROUGH CANADA SOCCER’s ALLOTMENT, WHEN AND HOW SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THEM?
Tickets will be made available as mobile tickets. Mobile tickets will be available only through the FIFA Ticketing App. Mobile tickets for Supporter Tickets (ST) during the Group Stage will be made available closer to the start of the tournament. Mobile tickets for Conditional Supporter Tickets (CST) during the knockout rounds will be delivered as Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team advances through the knockout rounds.
WHAT ELSE IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND A FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022™ MATCH?
To attend Matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ you need to obtain a Hayya card. The Hayya Card is your entry permit to the State of Qatar and your stadium access (along with your match ticket). Please visit here for more information. You can apply for your Hayya card after receiving your ticket confirmation email following the conclusion of the Random Selection Draw Sales Period. Please also inform your guests that they are also required to obtain Hayya cards.
ARE THERE ANY COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER QATAR OR THE fifa WORLD CUP STADIUMS?
