Spring Appeal: Show Local Child Victims They Matter

Help Get Kids off Our Waitlist this Spring!

We supported over 1,261 children and youth, and their caregivers, in Waterloo Region, Guelph, and Wellington County this past year alone.

With over 200 young people on our waitlist, there has never been a more urgent time to donate. Every child victim deserves our critical support.

What is it like for the children we support? Laura Cook sheds some light in this video.

“The support of Child Witness Centre for me was… lifesaving.” - Past client

Cybervictimization is the use of electronic communications with the intent to harm others. It can include threats, harassment, and sharing of private content – all meant to cause fear, embarrassment, and exclusion. Like all peer bullying, cybervictimization poses a serious mental health risk for youth, including anxiety, depression, and self harm.More than ever, the next generation needs our collective support! Caring conversations can have a big impact on the mental health of children and youth. A safe space and listening ear can make a world of difference for them.
