In preparation for the return of a larger number of students, faculty and staff on campus for the Fall 2022 semester, we ask that you please review the University of Windsor’s Mask Policy to ensure compliance.
The policy has been updated at various phases during the COVID-19 pandemic to align with guidance from federal, provincial and local public health guidance.
Masks are required in all indoor spaces where physical distancing of two metres cannot be maintained. This includes classrooms, laboratories, meeting rooms, conference rooms, vehicles, lounges, and shared spaces.
Masks are not required when physical distancing of two metres can be maintained. In these settings, we remind the UWindsor community to be kind and respectful of the decisions of others based on personal comfort levels, risk assessment and individual choice.
Masks are strongly recommended, though not required, in common areas such as hallways, washrooms and elevators.
The following COVID-19 protocols remain in place:
-
Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms must not attend campus or University of Windsor events. Report your illness to covid19reporting@uwindsor.ca.
-
Prior to entering a campus building, individuals should review the screening questions posted at entrances. If you are unable to answer no to all posted screening questions, do not enter the building and email covid19reporting@uwindsor.ca for instructions.
- Observe and follow COVID-19 protocol signage posted throughout campus.
- Good hand and respiratory hygiene continue to be a smart practice.
