Angila Chase and Masters of Counselling Students (3 of them currently). Families First provides subsidies for counselling and referrals for access. If families have benefits they can see Angila, if  there are no benefits it is either by subsidy or with a student for free. When a referral comes in  the team meets and discusses the case and then determines the best fit.

The Manager of The Bridge is Gloria Brathwait. Lindsay Zigler, the Mental Health Navcigator,  is the contact for onsite mental health supports and books the  appointments. She can be reached via phone or email manager@thebridgewhy.com. Onsite at  the Bridge are resources such as; PCN Nurse, PCN Mental Health Supports, altView Foundation,  Restorative Justice, Youth Addictions, and the FCSS Youth Outreach worker.

The FCSS Counselling Program is an affordable, professional service designed to address short term counselling needs and focuses on resolving client concerns. Our counsellors use solution  focused, cognitive behavioural approaches to assist clients in meeting their counselling goals.

Support is provided for a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, loss, marital and  relationship issues, stress, family conflict, parenting challenges, self-esteem and others.

All FCSS counselling services are confidential and provided on a sliding fee schedule.

FCSS Youth Outreach Worker 780-992-6267

The Youth Outreach Worker provides short-term, goal-oriented support to youth, aged 6-18  years, and their families. They work with youth’s existing strengths while building connections  between families, schools and community services.
