Call for Applications: APTN/imagineNATIVE Web Series Pitch
The annual APTN/imagineNATIVE Web Series Pitch Competition is back for 2020 as an online event! Applicants will be asked to submit a pitch video according to the specifications in this form and will then work with a mentor to hone their pitch prior to the competition. Selected teams will introduce themselves and their project and show their video to the jury and audience members, live via Zoom, on Oct. 21st, 2020. The winner will be announced during the iN Awards Ceremony, at the end of the Festival (Oct. 25th, 2020).

Application Deadline: Friday, September 18th, 2020

This form must be completed by 1 member of the team and all supporting documents must be submitted via e-mail to Jamie-Lee Reardon, Industry Coordinator, jreardon@imaginenative.org 

Required Support Documents:
- a downloadable pitch video/sizzle reel/demo trailer for the project (2 min. max. - this does not have to be the final product, selected teams will have the opportunity to continue to work on submitted pitch videos)
- draft production budget
- Director's Vision Statement (1 page maximum)
- Long Synopsis (1-2 paragraphs)
- NO CVs but please provide a brief explanation of both the producer and director's previous experience with film/television/web series' (1 page maximum)
- Why does your team want to tell this story, and why should it be told now? (1 page maximum)
- Headshots of producer and director.  

Eligibility Requirements: Must be Indigenous to Canada (First Nations, Métis, Inuit), must be a producer/director team (director can also be screenwriter), proposed project must be completed within 1 year (12 months) of signing contract with APTN and must be completed within the budget offered through this competition. Each episode must have a minimum length of 5 mins.
