Vancouver Street Store 8.0 Donation Champion Sign Up
Since the creation of the Donation Champion three Street Store's ago, this role has become a pivotal piece in our donation collection.

To be a Donation Champion you will be helping connect our broader Vancouver community with previously loved items, shared amongst our DTES community. As a Donation Champion, you may apply as an individual or as an organization.

We encourage community collaboration in whatever way is possible for you! Whether that be gathering donations from close friends and family members within your bubble, reaching out to colleagues at work or neighbours, or asking an organization or business to host a donation bin for you.

We often run out of these items within the first few hours! (Note: the majority of the DTES population identify as male)

Note that this piece is only required if you are volunteering at any of the sorting days or at the Street Store, this is not required for those acting as a donation champion. As a Donation Champion, I confirm that I am able to sort my donations collected by size and by type (women's jackets, pants, sweaters; men's jackets, pants, sweaters; toiletries; shoes; backpacks), and labelled. *

Liability: (If someone gets hurt etc, that neither the volunteer or the party involved can get sued): The volunteer hereby agrees that it will defend, indemnity and hold harmless ETE, its Board of Directors, individual directors and officers, employees, contractors and agents from and against any and all losses, claims, injuries (including death), damages, actions, causes of action, costs and expenses (including legal costs on a solicitor client basis), that ETE may sustain, incur, suffer or be put to at any time either before or after the termination of this Agreement, where the same or any of them are based upon, arise out of or occur, directly or indirectly, by reasons of any act or omission of the volunteer or its directors, officers, agents, employees or subcontractors pursuant to this Agreement. *

Photography Release: The volunteer grants permission to ETE to reproduce any portion of photographs taken at public events and privately scheduled photoshoots for the purpose of promotion and publicity, which may include, but is not limited to, websites and printed material, without compensation. Furthermore, the volunteer grants creative permission to alter the photograph(s). The volunteer hereby grants to ETE a royalty-free, non-exclusive, non‑transferable right and licence to use, copy, reproduce, distribute, make derivative works from and publicly display the tangible or intangible works developed under the Project for purposes of advertising, marketing and promoting the Program and for purposes of telling “success stories” that arise from the Program. *
