Welcome to the registration and waiver for the Rainbow Routes Association - English Conversations on the Trails on June 15, 2024. This hike is held in partnership with the Greater Sudbury Public Library.
Registering helps us organize and ensures you get last minute notifications such as cancellation due to extreme weather conditions or other changes. You will not receive a confirmation email immediately after registering, only the day before the hike.
ABOUT THE HIKE
Join the English Conversations on the Trails, a hike series led by the Rainbow Routes Association and Greater Sudbury Public Library. Our hikes aim to create inclusive experiences on local trails and walkways, promoting accessible outdoor recreation opportunities.
Our third hike in the 2024 season will be held in beautiful Bell Park, features a boardwalk with inspiring views of thawing or thawed Ramsey Lake. We will have the option for those interested to try urban poling.
When: June 15, 2024.
Time: 10:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Location: Bell Park Boardwalk
Meet: Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. Free parking is available off of York street.
Distance: 1-2 km
Dress: Comfortable spring boots and layer clothing for spring weather, such as hat, gloves and spring jacket.
Difficulty: easy, natural, boardwalk. The walkway may be snow covered, but is maintained by the City of Sudbury during the winter season.
