We're excited to offer a workshop on how you can use BioRender to present your research! BioRender is an online app used to create, edit, and collaborate on scientific diagrams, and illustrations. It offers a library of over 40,000 icons from over 30 fields of life sciences that you can use in the creation of scientific posters, presentations, publications and more.
We will be going over excellent examples of infographics generated with BioRender, before giving you the chance to work together on sketching out your own infographic ideas. We will end the workshop with a more specific tutorial on BioRender to give you the tools you need to bring it all together! For the workshop we ask that you come with a lay summary of your research so you get started right away on your infographic.
For the workshop, you will be using the free version of BioRender. Cold Regions will support license purchasing for students that are affiliated with the CRRC and will be using BioRender to produce graphics for upcoming posters, presentations or publications. If you would like a license following the conference, please let us know below how you will be planning on using it.
