The Pacific Chapter of the Nature-based Coastal Solutions (NbCS) Community of Practice is excited to announce its inaugural in-person event, the ‘Pacific Workshop on Nature-based Coastal Solutions’. This three-day workshop will take place from October 8-10, 2024 at the Morris J. Wosk Center for Dialogue in Vancouver, BC, as follows:

Tuesday, October 8th - Field Trip (location and times to be confirmed)
Wednesday, October 9th - Workshop Sessions
Thursday, Oct 10th - Workshop Sessions

The workshop aims to unite professionals, researchers, and advocates from diverse backgrounds to foster collaboration, learning, and advocacy for NbCS in the Pacific Region.

Please use this form to submit your abstract for the October 2024 Pacific Workshop.

Deadline for abstract submission is midnight on May 24, 2024.

We encourage submissions that include multiple voices and diverse perspectives, and collaborative approaches to nature-based coastal solutions. Case study and research presentations, and collaborative workshops are encouraged.
