Welcome to the Winter 2024 Virtual Thriving in Action Training Institute!
Join us for five consecutive Fridays, February 2, February 9, February 16, February 23 and March 1 (inclusive), 2024, from 1:00-4:00 EASTERN TIME to learn about the Thriving in Action (TiA) project. Over these five sessions, you will learn about TiA's uniquely blended curriculum which integrates Positive Psychology essentials like resilience, self-compassion, optimism, character strengths, and gratitude, with progressive learning strategies, including mindfulness-based time management, collaborative group work, and somatic approaches for concentration and memory. We'll explore numerous holistic strategies, from sleep to studying, habits to harnessing willpower, appreciative listening to agency, and note-taking to meaning-making. In this five half-day online training, we will also share several TiA-related research studies underway, and hear how other educators are implementing TiA at their campuses.
Whether you attend all five sessions, or just for one or two, you will leave feeling bolstered in your work and wisdom, and connected to this flourishing initiative and the larger community that is itself flourishing.
