Maintaining mission integrity includes promoting the Catholic view of human sexuality and the human body. In this view, sexual acts belong in marriage, which is seen as a life- long indissoluble union of a man and a woman, and, thus, students are taught to abstain from sexual acts before marriage and to cultivate the virtue of chastity. Also, the human body, as created male or female by God (Gen 1:27), is seen to be part of one’s personal identity, and is to be respected as such. As Pope Francis teaches, “the young need to be helped to accept their own body as it was created, for ‘thinking that we enjoy absolute power over our own bodies turns, often subtly, into thinking that we enjoy absolute power over creation’” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 285, also Laudato Si’, no. 155). Furthermore, the appreciation of one’s own body as male or female allows true self-understanding and facilitates one’s ability to form mutually enriching relationships with others (see Amoris Laetitia, no. 285).

https://drive.google.com/file/d/12o1bDvSj-kt3HhYx6aEgtqcdVGuKeT0d/view?usp=sharingMORALITY: I/We believe that biblical marriage as sanctioned by God joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as stated in Scripture (Gen. 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to be limited to a man and a woman who are married to each other (I Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb. 13:4). Forms of immorality including but not limited to: adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography are considered sinful as stated in Scripture and offensive to God (Matt. 15:18-20). We believe that in order to preserve the integrity of the church as the local Body of Christ, and all the ministries of the church, and to provide a biblical role model to the church members and community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the church/school in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, or students attending BBCS, abide by and agree to this statement of faith on marriage, gender, and sexuality and conduct themselves accordingly (Matt. 5:16, Phil. 2:14-16, I Thess. 5:22). While holding firm to Scripture’s definition of marriage, gender, and sexuality, we believe that every person is deserving of compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31, Luke 6:31) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individuals will not be tolerated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of the church. We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Gender Identity and Sexuality
"Gender" is your biological sex as God originally created you.

DCS believes that all people must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. It will always be our intent as a school to reflect these qualities. Any behavior or attitudes not displaying these qualities should be corrected, as they are not in accord with scripture or the Spirit of Christ. (John 13:35)

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably created each person as distinctly male or female (Gen. 1:26-31; 2:18-25; 5:1, 2). These two distinct and divinely representative genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that the fullest, most rewarding experience of life includes the acceptance of a person’s God-given biological gender. The rejection of one’s biological gender diminishes the reflection of the image of God within a person.

We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. Any form of sexual intimacy outside of such marriage is hurtful to God’s heart, and harmful to the spiritual health of those involved. (1 Cor. 6:15-7:6; Eph. 5:3-7) Such activities include, but is not limited to adultery, fornication, homosexual conduct, and pornography.

HUMAN SEXUALITY POLICIES FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
From: https://www.newwaysministry.org/2022/10/12/across-u-s-catholic-educators-criticize-wave-of-diocesan-anti-transgender-policies/The diocesan school will interact with students according to their biological sex as based upon physical differences at birth. A member of the diocesan school community who wishes to express a gender other than his or her biological sex is understood as operating outside of the “reality deeply inscribed”within. Assisting the person in his or her disconnection with this reality, however sincerely experienced, by agreeing to participate in any efforts to change natural gender expression is contrary to the pursuit of the truth.[...]

While homosexual acts are always objectively wrong, same-sex inclinations are not in themselves sinful or a moral failing.

To the extent that a same-sex attraction is not freely chosen, there is no personal culpability in having such an inclination. Nonetheless, when oriented toward genital activity, this inclination is “objectively disordered.”[...]

Labels can falsely promote a lasting identification or enduring notion of self, therefore, the diocesan school avoids labeling individuals with such terms as “gay,” “lesbian,” “bisexual,” or “queer,” even when the individual might desire such identification.

Scripture clearly teaches that God is the sole authority in matters of marriage and sexuality for all people, and that marriage involves the sacred joining together of one man and one woman in faithful, permanent union (Genesis 2:18-24; Matthew 19:1-9; Mark 10:1-10; 1

God states in the Bible that he hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and Scripture states that He intends the marriage union to last until one of the spouses dies (Genesis 2:24; 1 Corinthians 7:10-13). Sex is a gift from God to be enjoyed solely within this God- ordained marriage relationship, and God has clearly and expressly commanded abstinence from any form of sexual or intimate activity outside of this context, prohibiting as “sexual immorality” activities related to, for example: lustful thought, adultery, fornication, pornography, homosexuality, bisexuality, or polygamy (Leviticus 18; Matthew 5:27; Matthew 15:9; Romans 1:18-32; Romans 13:13; 1 Corinthians 5; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20; Galatians 5; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7; Hebrews 13:4; Jude 1:7).

Lansing Christian School’s mission is to serve as an extension of the Christian home as we work together to achieve the goal of helping children grow to their maximum potential, preparing them for lives of service in the Kingdom of God, and equipping each one with the armor of God.

Lansing Christian School is a religious institution, providing an education in a distinct Christian environment, and it believes that its Biblical role is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ-like.
On those occasions in which the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home is counter to or in opposition to the Biblical lifestyle the school teaches, the school reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student.

This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, a parent living with and in a relationship with another adult outside of historical, Biblical definition of marriage as described below; a parent or student practicing a homosexual lifestyle or alternative gender identity; promoting such practices; or otherwise having the inability to support the moral principles of the school.

Leviticus 20:13a shows that as God’s people left their years of slavery, they were reminded that God’s plan did not include homosexual relationships.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 makes it clear that parents are called to train their children in His commands in all parts of life--at home or on the road, sitting down or standing up, inside the house or outside the house. Because parents are called to train their children at all times, what is taught and demonstrated in the home is just as important, if not more important, as what is taught and demonstrated at school. As such, the Christian school must take interest in the atmosphere and/or conduct in a particular home.

Matthew 19:4-6 makes it clear that God’s intention for marriage is that between one man and one woman.
Romans 1:24-27 makes it clear that in spite of God’s plain and clear revelation of himself, a homosexual lifestyle is shameful, unnatural, and a demonstration of the brokenness affecting God’s original intent and
I Corinthians 6:9-10 makes it clear that having sexual relations with someone of the same gender is a sin. These Bible passages equate homosexual acts with adultery and sexual perversion.

Lansing Christian believes that the term marriage refers to the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, lifelong union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4).
Lansing Christian believes that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female and acknowledges the rare intersex birth condition. Rockford Christian Schools is a religious, non-profit organization representing Jesus Christ throughout the evangelical community worldwide.
The Rockford Christian Schools Statement of Faith provides the basis for a lifestyle based on traditional biblical standards of moral conduct.
To preserve the function and integrity of Rockford Christian Schools, its employees must be born-again Christians, living their lives as Christian role models (Rom. 10:9-10; I Tim. 4:12), and maintaining a lifestyle based on biblical standards of conduct. Failure to do so may result in a reprimand or, in some cases, dismissal from employment. It is the goal of Rockford Christian Schools that each employee will have a lifestyle where "...He might have the preeminence." Col. 1:18.
Employees will not conduct themselves in a way that will cause others to justly question their Christian testimonies. A Christian lifestyle should reflect the biblical perspective of integrity and appropriate personal and family relationships, business conduct and moral behavior. We expect employees to demonstrate a teachable spirit, an ability to share love for others, a willingness to live contentedly under authority and a commitment to follow the Matthew 18 principle when an issue arises with fellow employees or management.
Rockford Christian Schools believes that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant union, as delineated in Scripture;

Examples of proper actions:
● Engaging in intimate sexual conduct only within the marital union of one man and one
woman; and
● Dressing and using the restrooms, locker rooms and changing facilities conforming with
one’s biological sex.
Statement of the Sanctity of Human Life
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)
Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin OF ANY KIND, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10)
We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture.
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably (unchanging) creates each person as either biologically male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.)
We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4.)
We believe that any form of sexual immorality (such as adultery within marriage, consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other, homosexual behavior, and use of pornography) is sinful and harmful. (Matt 15:18-20; 1 Cor 6:9-10 and 18.)
We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Rockford Christian Schools as a biblical role model to the students of Rockford Christian Schools, their families and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by Rockford Christian Schools in any capacity support in word and action this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality. (Matt 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; 1 Thess 5:22.)

STATEMENT ON HUMAN SEXUALITY AND CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT SCCS
https://swchristian.myschoolapp.com/ftpimages/990/download/download_6813496.pdf
Sexual activity has its intended place in the context of a marriage between a man and a woman. Any sexual activity outside of this context is sinful.

The goal of all Christians, whether called to be single or married, is to live God-honoring lives.

We affirm that God created humanity as male and female in His image. Due to the fall, some people experience a disconnect between their gender identity and their biological sex (transgender). Embracing this disconnect is outside of God’s will for our lives.

Timothy Christian Schools believes that the term marriage refers to the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, lifelong union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4).

Timothy Christian Schools believes that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, and acknowledges the rare intersex birth condition. These two complementary genders reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). We acknowledge the reality that sin has distorted the image of God in men and women, and mourn anyone’s willful rejection of God’s image in them.

Timothy Christian Schools believes that moral misconduct includes, but is not limited to, promiscuity, adultery, fornication, co-habitation, homosexual behavior, bisexuality, polygamy, bestiality, incest, transgender identity, gender non-conformity, non-binary gender conformity, use of pornography, or any other violation of the unique, distinct roles of male and female (Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:7-23, 20:10-21; Deuteronomy 5:18; Matthew 5:27-28, 15:18-20; Romans 1:21-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20; Colossians 3:5).

https://westlakechristian.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/WCA-2022-23-Parent-Student-Handbook.pdfWestlake Christian Academy will admit students only on the condition that both they and their custodial parent(s) maintain a lifestyle based on faithful biblical standards of moral conduct related to human sexuality. In this instance, moral misconduct includes, but is not limited to, promiscuity, homosexual behavior, or any other violation of the unique God-given roles of male and female (Rom. 1:21- 27; 1 Cor. 6:9-20). Westlake Christian Academy believes that biblical marriage is limited to a covenant relationship between one man and one woman.
If either a Westlake Christian Academy student or their custodial parent(s) begin to live a lifestyle contrary to the scriptural principles set forth in this policy, then we will come alongside that student or those parents with loving compassion and humble confrontation, in accordance with the Matthew 18 Policy of WCA. If the student or custodial parent(s) refuse to repent of his or her lifestyle choice, that choice may be grounds for WCA to remove the student from the school for the sake of the spiritual and emotional welfare of the other students and families.
