Jessica Zeroual | Senior Advisor to the Associate Deputy Minister for Enterprise Pay Coordination, Public Services and Procurement Canada 

Jessica Zéroual-Kara is the Senior Advisor to the Associate Deputy Minister for Enterprise Pay Coordination at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). She is also a part-time faculty member at the Canada School of Public Service. Jessica has worked on two major Government of Canada digital transformation initiatives including the Benefit Delivery Modernization Programme at Service Canada and the Enterprise Pay Coordination portfolio at PSPC. She brings experience in research design, stakeholder engagement, outreach, project management and policy.

Beth Ford | Strategic Advisor to the Digital Community, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat 

Beth has 30+ years of work experience including almost two decades as a leader. She possesses a wealth of leadership knowledge and applicable real-life skills that she has gained working in IT. Her leadership and mentoring are ideal for those looking for a boost to their career by getting really clear on their own strengths.

Shannon Kenney | A/Chief Information Officer, Shared Services Canada 

Shannon Kenney is currently the acting Chief Information Officer for Shared Services Canada. Shannon began her career in Ottawa’s private technology sector and then spent 18 years leading a number of strategic change initiatives in the public sector with the City of Ottawa in Human Resources and Payroll, Governance, Security, and migration to the Cloud.  She joined Shared Services Canada in April of 2020 where she has led several internal technology and employee experience initiatives, including the digital shift to M365, the implementation of Cloud Managed Desktop, the development of an Innovation and Experimentation Program, and more. 

Shannon is passionate about leadership and contributing to corporate and local communities.  She has held several elected positions on community associations in the National Capital Region, is a long-time mentor and the co-founder of a women’s networking organization.

 

Thiago Fernandes de Lima | Director Strategic Policy and Integration, Health Canada 

Enthusiastic public servant with a M.A. in Public Administration and a BSc. in Computer Science. He is currently the Director of the Office of Strategic Policy and Integration at Health Canada’s Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety Branch. Thiago has over fifteen years of work experience in the Government of Canada working on diversity, youth, health and Veterans issues, as well as infrastructure, transportation, and immigration.  

 

 

Francois Brunet | Chief Digital Officer, Canada School of Public Service 

Francois Brunet is an accomplished leader with a track record of driving digital transformation and innovation projects in the public sector. With extensive experience in information management, technology adoption, and strategic planning, Francois has made significant contributions to various projects within The Canada School and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS). 

He has recently delivered the new Digital Learning Platform of the School, and made it an Enterprise solution so other Departments can also benefits from it. 

He initiated and adopted the cloud first policy at TBS and the Canada School.
