What is the Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy Internship Program?

This Internship trains and develops the next generation of leaders to catalyze solutions that benefit population health and welfare. Interns spend 10 hours per week on research work in collaboration with their faculty supervisor. This research is supplemented by a weekly workshop series that exposes interns to a variety of disciplines and provides training in research, communications, and policy-relevant skills.

Who can apply?

  • Senior undergraduate and graduate students at McGill

  • Students from all disciplines

  • Students interested in investigating how social conditions affect health and well-being

  • Students interested in learning about translating research into action through policy

What do Interns do?

  • Develop a work plan in collaboration with your supervisor outlining the activities and contributions for your Internship.
