President's Annual Report 2023/2024

Attn. Presidents / Co-Chairs: Your local Home and School Association's annual report is due February 29

All reports will be included in the 71st Annual Book of Reports and circulated at the Annual General Meeting & Convention on April 13, 2024. 

Your annual report can be submitted to the Federation office in one of two ways (choose one): 

1. Complete this 2024 Annual Report Google Form; scroll down and answer questions to write your Association's report.

2. Write a one-two-page report and send it as a Word document (required) to ssmedleyjay@gov.pe.ca. Last year's reports are emailed to presidents for their reference. Include Home & School’s activities and educational discussions on the following topics: 

    • Healthy School Food Initiatives
    • Literacy programs
    • Health and Wellness initiatives
    • School Staff Appreciation Week activities
    • Award Nominations
    • Parent Leadership Project Initiatives
    • Speaker Resources
    • Public Schools Branch policies discussed
    • Writing Resolutions on issues that impact students' learning
    • Curriculum, Provincial Assessments, etc.
    • Communications: Home & School Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Websites
    • Fundraising
Your Home and School's Annual Report can be written like a blog by listing monthly activities beginning in September 2023 through to the end of June 2024.  Collectively, we are writing the history of Home and School in P.E.I.

The Federation's Semi-Annual Meeting and Volunteer Training Workshops were held in Oct and Nov. 2023. If anyone in your Home and School attended, briefly describe what was learned.
