Call for International Adaptive Reuse Case Studies
Carleton University is one of the 14 universities involved in the SSHRC Partnership Grant on Quality in Canada’s Built Environment: Roadmaps to Equity, Social Value and Sustainability (2022 - 2027)with a research team made up of graduate students and professors across the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Our research site explores the topic of Adaptive Reuse for a Sustainable Future.

As part of this research, our research team is developing an inventory of adaptive reuse case studies in Canada and abroad to better analyze the predominant typologies, scales, and quality of adaptive reuse.

We welcome submissions from any individuals who know of or have been personally involved with any exemplary adaptive reuse projects to contribute to the growing inventory. PLEASE NOTE: Submissions do not require all boxes to be filled to be a valuable contribution to the database. While project name/location are necessary to identify the project, additional information is optional, based on what you are able and willing to provide. We appreciate all levels of contributions!
