We will be holding a St James LEAP  (Leaders in Exercise and Athletic Performance) program meeting in the new year (time to be announced) with potential incoming to St. James and interested students from the community or other school systems. LEAP is a program dedicated to building high performance and exceptional athletes to compliment the child's athletic activities and pathway while creating leadership and career opportunities in areas of business, athletlics, fitness and/ or recreation. The focus of the meeting will be to discuss the components and opportunities in the program including:

- high performance training and leadership development PHE/ Interdisciplinary courses students can complete
- potential certifications we can provide students in HS  (First AID, Concussion, Coaching, Personal Training etc)
- potential PAID and unpaid Coop opportunities (2 credit) working sport, recreation and athletics in the program
- portfolio development for linkages to post-secondary pathways
