Multi-criteria decision analysis for site classification of educational facilities

The code and documents from the paper "Assessing natural hazard risks for planning the location of educational facilities: Multi-criteria decision analysis for site classification" by Vargas Mesa, Sheldon & Gagnon (forthcoming), in a joint publication from IIEP-UNESCO and UNOSAT, will be stored here. Part A (0 to 3)of this paper aims at showcasing a methodology to perform a customized classification of educational facilities according to a context-relevant natural hazard risk index. Part B (4) includes a multi-criteria decision analysis to determine the suitability of land to host new infrastructure, and to provide insights in the maintenance of the existing one.
