Technical Committees
HSO’s Technical Committees lead the development of HSO’s standards through HSO’s standards development process. Each Technical Committee works with an HSO project team to oversee the development of a standard, ensuring that all points of view are represented.
Working Groups may be established by HSO project teams and Technical Committees to support the development of specific and specialized content for standards.
Our Technical Committees and Working Groups include people with lived experience, product users (people who will use the standard), policy makers/health care stakeholders, and people with a general interest in the topic. HSO ensures that each group is fairly represented. All Technical Committee and Working Group members bring their experience and expertise to the development of the standard.
