Innovation Governance Program (iGP)

About the Program
Responding to Canada’s need for qualified directors and increased diversity on corporate boards, the Innovation Governance Program (iGP) is a new executive leadership program that will train current and future board members in key areas of importance in the intangible economy.
Presented by the Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI), iGP brings together expert organizations to deliver online training seminars for current and future business leaders.
iGP is a three-course specialization program leading to a professional certificate. Each level consists of six weeks of training that includes eleven one-hour sessions of instruction, class participation, accountability groups and exercises.
At the end of each session, iGP participants will be able to identify, describe and analyze modern governance issues facing innovation companies today and will be added to the roster of prospective directors within CCI's Board Member Advisory Program, a specialized referral program that helps scale-up companies fill board vacancies.
