Laurier holding vigils to honour those lost to anti-trans violence

Wilfrid Laurier University is holding two vigils Monday to honour those lost to anti-trans violence.
The first vigil is taking place from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Hawk's Nest located on the Waterloo campus.
The second vigil will take place from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the RCW Lobby at the university's Brantford campus.
The vigils will also honour the victims of Saturday's shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs.
Laurier lowered its flags for Transgender Day of Remembrance on Sunday.
