Solo Release
little winters is a double-single release (2022): “fog the mirror” and “the cold makes you” were recorded by Paul Cimolini at Canary Sound in Lantzville, B.C.


“Grabbing a Ghost” is a single released in 2022 and recorded at Little Island Studios by Winston Hauschild.

“A Foolish Thing” is a single released in 2021 and recorded at Little Island Studios by Winston Hauschild.


From the Woods (2020) is a home-recorded collection of songs that were written while living in a cabin in the Cariboo. Made possible with a grant from Creative BC.

three bird songs (2020) is a home-recorded, bird-inspired collection of songs that accompanies a poetry e-book called singing for a mate in the shadow of merlins.

Otta Sotta: The End of the Ocean? (2019) is a six-track collection of songs inspired by the ocean and the conservation work of Farley Mowat; and also accompanies a 26-minute compilation film.

“Love is a Spell” (2018) is a home-recorded single featuring Nanaimo pianist Scott Arkell.

“My Time” is a single released in 2014 and recorded at The Beach Studio in Calgary, Alberta. All proceeds form the song go to Women Against Violence Against Women in Vancouver, B.C.

Prisoner of Thought (2014) is a home-recorded collection of demo songs available for free download.

“Run Outta Road” is a single released in 2011 recorded at The Armoury in Vancouver, B.C., and is featured in the short film Pirette.

Band Releases
Laura has written, provided vocals for and performed with a number of acts and recordings, including Dispell, The Water Table and Ringbearer.

“Restless,” the latest single from Builder & the Banshee:

Builder & the Banshee: A Hand Holding the Matchbook (2019) is a seven-track, home-recorded album.

Dispell: The Quick Fix was released in 2018 after four years of the band writing and gigging together in Vancouver, B.C.

The Water Table was a collaboration between Laura and beat artist Tyler W.

The Jaw of the Land is a song off of Ringbearer’s album King Under the Mountain featuring Laura.
