FMC en psychothérapie: Congrès 12e édition

Bonjour à tous,
Nous sommes très heureux de vous convier à la 12e édition de la Formation Médicale Continue (FMC) en psychothérapie, « La personnalité au-delà des critères: une approche psychodynamique aux structures de la personnalité ». Il s’agit d’un événement annuel organisé par des résidents en psychiatrie de l’Université de Montréal. Cette année, vous avez manifesté un intérêt marqué pour la thérapie psychodynamique. Ainsi, nous aurons la chance de recevoir Dre Nancy McWilliams PhD, ABPP, en tant que conférencière de cette édition de la formation. Dans cette édition, votre collaboration sera requise puisque vous aurez l’occasion de présenter un cas clinique qui servira de discussion avec Dre McWilliams sur l’un des sujets suivants :
- les niveaux d’organisations (névrotique-limite-psychotique)
- les structures dépressives - masochistes
- les structures narcissiques - psychopathes
- les structures histrioniques - dissociatives
Dre McWilliams présentera des capsules théoriques sur ces quatre sujets, puis un participant présentera un cas connexe qui servira de base pour la discussion. Nous aurons donc besoin que quatre participants présentent des cas. Si vous êtes intéressés à présenter un cas, veuillez nous écrire à l’adresse courriel ci-bas dès que possible.
Dre Nancy McWilliams a gradué de la Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied & Professional Psychology. Elle a aussi gradué du National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis. Elle est l’auteur de plusieurs livres de psychothérapie, notamment le classique Psychoanalytic Diagnosis. Dre McWilliams est affiliée au Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey. Reconnue par ses pairs, Dre McWilliams a entre autres été récipiendaire du prix Gravida en 1999 (prix du National Association for Advancement of Psychoanalysis).
OÙ et QUAND
Le congrès aura lieu les 27 et 28 octobre 2022 à l’amphithéâtre Pierre-Péladeau du CHUM, en présentiel puisque les règles sanitaires nous le permettent. Le dîner sera inclus pour les deux journées.

Dear all,
We are very pleased to invite you to the 12th edition of Continuing Medical Education in Psychotherapy, « Personality beyond criterias: a psychodynamic approach to personality structures ». It is an annual event organized by the psychiatry residents Université de Montréal. This year, you have shown a strong interest in psychodynamic therapy. Thus, we will have the chance to host Dr. Nancy McWilliams PhD, ABPP, as a speaker for this edition of the event. In this edition, your collaboration will be required as you will have the opportunity to present a clinical case that will serve as a discussion with Dr. McWilliams on one of the following topics:
- Levels of organization (neurotic-borderline-psychotic)
- Depressive - masochistic structures
- Narcissistic - psychopathic structures
- Histrionic - dissociative structures
Dr. McWilliams will present theory capsules on these four topics, then a participant will present a related clinical case that will serve as the basis for the discussion with the audience. So, we will need four participants to present cases. If you are interested in presenting a case, please write to us at the email address below as quickly as possible.
Dr. Nancy McWilliams graduated from Rutgers University's Graduate School of Applied & Professional Psychology. She also graduated from the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis. She is the author of several psychotherapy books including the classic Psychoanalytic Diagnosis. Dr. McWilliams is affiliated with the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey. Recognized by her peers, Dr. McWilliams was, among other things, the award winner of the Gravida Prize in 1999 (prize of the National Association for Advancement of Psychoanalysis).
WHERE AND WHEN
The congress will take place on October 27 and 28, 2022 at the Pierre-Péladeau amphitheater of the CHUM, face-to-face since the health rules allow it.
Lunch will be included for both days.
