Dementia Education Program

The Division of Geriatric Medicine is working in collaboration with the McGill Centre for Studies in Aging, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning, the Vice Dean of Education of the Faculty of Medicine and Caregiver Crosswalk Inc. to build a comprehensive program to address the needs of persons living with dementia and the caregivers and professionals who support them.

The Dementia Education Program brings together cutting-edge teaching and learning techniques, including simulation and a distance blended learning approach to reach remote areas, and leverages McGill’s wide-ranging research and clinical expertise and community partnerships to work towards building dementia-inclusive communities for the thousands of Quebecers who live with dementia and their caregivers.
