The Liaison Tour hosts two major events: the Community meetings and the B2B Virtual Fair for employers.
September 14 and 15, 2021 Meeting sessions for community stakeholders!

The goal of the community meetings is to position Francophone immigration as a solution for Canadian employers and to discuss its impact in the communities. They will also allow to:
  • discover the tools available to you in order to attract qualified francophone and bilingual workers 
  • learn about the francophone Mobility program 
  • identify services to foster workforce retention.

Canada reaches agreement with U.S. to support refugees’ travel to safety


August 31, 2021—Ottawa, ON—The Government of Canada continues to exhaust every option to get as many Afghans to safety as possible, in partnership with our allies around the world. In the first phase of our operation, Canada evacuated roughly 3,700 people from Afghanistan—the majority of whom are refugees who supported Canada’s mission, and will soon begin new lives in this country.
As we begin the second phase of our operation, Canada’s solidarity with the people of Afghanistan remains strong.

Le Canada conclut un accord avec les États-Unis pour soutenir le transport de réfugiés afghans vers un lieu sûr


Le 31 août 2021 — Ottawa — Le gouvernement du Canada continue d’épuiser toutes les options disponibles en collaboration avec nos alliés du monde entier, afin d’assurer la sécurité du plus grand nombre d’Afghans possible. Dans la première phase de son opération, le Canada a évacué environ 3 700 personnes de l’Afghanistan — la majorité d’entre elles étant des réfugiés qui ont soutenu la mission du Canada et qui commenceront bientôt une nouvelle vie dans ce pays.

Alors que nous entamons la deuxième phase de notre opération, la solidarité du Canada avec le peuple afghan demeure forte.
