The Truckers Freedom Convoy to Ottawa is passing through Montreal on Friday. Two groups of truckers and supporters opposed to COVID-19 lockdowns, vaccine mandates and restrictions left from Vancouver and Prince George on Sunday, meeting in Calgary, and are scheduled to arrive in Ottawa on Saturday.
Various groups of truckers and supporters are taking alternate routes to meet up with the convoy in Ottawa. Details are being shared through the group’s Facebook page, Freedom Convoy 2022.

Another group travelling the “east route” will depart from Rivière-du-Loup on Friday at 7 a.m., heading along Highway 20; arriving in Quebec City at 9:30 a.m., St-Liboire at 12:30 p.m., then through Montreal via Highways 25 and 40, stopping briefly to rendez-vous with the Eastern Townships convoy, and continuing on to Vankleek Hill, Ont., arriving at 3 p.m.
