Module 2 – Dr. Robyn Harrison
Recommendations of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) on the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Harrison describes:

• NACI recommendations on the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine

Speakers
Dr. Bryna Warshawsky is a Medical Advisor at the Public Health Agency of Canada working on the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out response. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University and a past Chair of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization. She has worked as the Associate Medical Officer of Health for the Middlesex-London Health Unit and as a Public Health Physician at Public Health Ontario.
Dr. Robyn Harrison works as an Adult Infectious Disease Specialist in Edmonton, Alberta; and Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta. She also works as a Communicable Disease Consultant for the province-wide Alberta Health Services Workplace Health and Safety Program. She is a member of the Alberta Advisory Committee on Immunization, and collaborates with the Public Health Agency of Canada as a member of the Prevention and Control of Occupational Infections in Health Care Settings Guideline Working Group; and High Consequence Pathogen Task Group. She is also a member of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI); incoming Chair for the NACI Influenza Working Group; and member of the NACI High Consequence Infectious Disease working group. Dr. Harrison is keenly interested in policy development and support for clinicians to prevent infection transmission in healthcare settings.
