Jason’s practice focuses on Labour & Employment matters. He regularly represents and advises employers with respect to complex disciplinary issues, human rights violations, wrongful dismissal, and professional misconduct in both union and non-union contexts. Jason is particularly skilled in conducting workplace investigations. His thorough and unbiased reports enable clients to efficiently resolve issues and focus on getting back to business.

A critical thinker and creative strategist, Jason works collaboratively with clients and opposing counsel to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions. However, when necessary, he is a fierce advocate who pursues his client’s best interests with resolve.

Prior to practicing law, Jason served the community as a police officer for over 17 years. During his tenure with the Edmonton Police Service, he received numerous awards, including Divisional Recognition for Investigative Excellence and Favorable Notice for Exceptional Performance. His experience as a police officer allowed him to cultivate a valuable skillset he effectively applies to his practice of law. Active in the Edmonton community, Jason is a coach with the St. Albert Minor Baseball Association and is involved with KidSport.
