Shoaling reported at the Pangnirtung Small Craft Harbour channel entrance. Depths vary from 0.6 metres below chart datum along the channel centerline to 0.7 metres above chart datum along the eastearn edge of the channel.
Ice Control Zone Tango (T) has been activated and declared in force.
Mariners are cautioned that bergy waters exist South and East of this zone.

Control of NORDREG Canada will be transferred from MCTS Iqaluit/VFF to MCTS Les Escoumins/VCF at 151400 UTC Dec 2023. Cambridge Bay Lighted Buoys 2, 7, 8, and 11 will remain deployed during the offseason, unlit from November 2023 to August 2024. These buoys may be dragged off advertised position by ice movement, or remain under the ice.
Simpson Strait buoys 9, 11, 12, 14 and 18 will remain deployed during the offseason, from October 2023 to August 2024. These buoys may be dragged off advertised position by ice movement, or remain under the ice. As a result, mariners are to navigate with caution in the area until those buoys are again commissioned in August 2024.
