A magical and contemplative break on Place Royale

During the holiday season, the Museum is inviting you to come take a break on Place Royale, in Old Montréal, where you can enjoy a relaxation zone decked out for the holidays with Adirondack chairs and illuminated trees. In this magical setting resembling a royal forest, take some time for a respite from all the holiday hubbub!

Chance encounters on Saturdays and Sundays, December 11, 12, 18, and 19

From 11 am to 4 pm
Warming up your body and soul on Place Royale may lead to a chance encounter with four Christmas characters: Befana, St. Nicolas, Little Lucy, and—of course—Santa Claus himself! A great opportunity for children to learn about Christmas all around the world as they listen to these four characters tell their stories.

The area around the Museum will be closed to traffic from December 11 to 20, but decorations will stay up to extend the holiday magic until January 3.
