Currently Opal is functional at the McGill Health Centre. It allows registered patients to access their appointment schedules, personal health information, personalized educational materials and symptom questionnaires. It also allows patients to remote check-in to their appointments.

haven't had the chance to check out the app yet but is it only for patients of McGill? I love the concept and coming from someone who has several health problems to follow through and tones of medical files I'm hoping it could be universal!

It's the perfect app to get my appointments with my doctor/oncology department and a review of my blood test in real time so that the doctor and I can discuss. I would like though that the whole blood test panel can be accessed and not 'only' pertaining to my oncology results.
