The Dartmouth Whalers are pleased to introduce a  PILOT Goaltender Initiative for the 2022-2023 season. 

Our commitment for this hockey season is development. One of our major focuses is goaltender development, for both new and returning players. We hope with this new initiative, we can recruit new goalies and maintain the ones we have through reduced costs and increased development opportunities.

Our new initiative is as follows:

Any player that spends the entire 2022-2023 hockey season as a goalie with the Dartmouth Whalers will receive $425 off next year's registration fees if they register and play as a goalie for the 2023-2024 hockey season. This initiative applies to all goalies, U11 through U18, playing both Recreation and Competitive hockey. The goalie  credit is only applicable to players who have completed their first season in U11 as a goalie, and are continuing to play as a goalie.  We are pleased to share that we will be using a portion of the funds given by our sponsors to help support this initiative. We acknowledge that goalies play an essential role on every hockey team. In addition to reducing costs for our goalies, the board is also working behind the scenes to bring our goalies some new development opportunities in the 2022-2023 season.
