The Regional Municipality of Waterloo (the “Region”), which operates Grand River Transit (“GRT”) wishes to engage the services of a transportation / transit consulting firm (the “Consultant”) to develop GRT’s Specialized Services Business Plan - MobilityPLUS and Kiwanis Transit – for 2025 to the end of 2030.
The purpose of the Business Plan is to guide the improvement and expansion of Specialized Transit Services through the next 5 years and is intended to operationalize GRT’s role in achieving the Region’s commitment to community climate action, and align GRT services, policies, and programs to the Region’s Strategic Plan as it relates to Specialized Transit Services.
 

The specific goals of the Business Plan include the following:
 Improve service levels and ridership;
 Improve service quality and customer satisfaction;
 Improve productivity and cost effectiveness;
 Conform to AODA Standards (or better where feasible) and all other legislation;
 Address transit accessibility issues; and
 Maintain a high level of employee & customer satisfaction and workplace excellence.
