Dear colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the upcoming enhancements to Banner Employee Self-Service, which will improve the employee experience by making it easier to access and navigate all the content available within Self-Service.
We will be rolling out these enhancements over an extended period, and the first piece of Self-Service that will receive a new look and feel is the Employee Profile Dashboard. The basic functionality will not change but the layout will be improved with more direct access to the content from the main dashboard.
Employees will still be able to access the same features.
- Update their personal information
- Access their tax information
- View their leave balances
- See their pay information, including pay stub details
- Review their employment summary
We would encourage you to log into Self-Service on Tuesday, July 5 to see the updated look and feel.
If you require technical assistance logging in, please create a Helpdesk ticket and the EIT team will be able to assist you, if you have questions specific to the information you see on Employee Self Service please contact peopleandculture@smu.ca. We have also created an informational site to help guide you through the Employee Profile Dashboard. This site will be updated with new information and material as each set of enhancements to Self-Service is rolled out.
