Point of Care Clinical Pathway for Possible or Confirmed Eating Disorders in BC Children & Youth

The Point of Care Clinical Pathway for Possible or Confirmed Eating Disorder in BC Children and Youth has been developed to support providers in caring for children and youth with possible or confirmed eating disorders in their practice.

As part of this pilot we ask that you:

• Use the pathway when you work with youth who have symptoms of a possible or confirmed  eating disorder in your practice.
• Complete a short (10 minute) survey to provide feedback on the pathway and your experiences using it. We will send you an online link to the survey after at least one month after the pilot launch. Physician/ nurse practitioner feedback will help us build upon existing strengths of the pathway and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support us in collecting feedback from patients and caregivers via a short online survey. The survey can be sent to patients via email or can be conducted within the clinic, after the appointment, as per your preference and as appropriate. Please note that the survey results will only be used to better understand how physicians/NPs can be better supported via the the pathway and will not evaluate you or your practice. 

Those who choose to be a part of this pilot will be compensated for their time. Physicians/ NPs will receive a 3-hour sessional payment for watching a pre-recorded 30-minute video about the pilot and pathway, completing the short (10 minute) survey, and supporting the distribution of the patient survey, when and if possible.
