Welcome to the City of Victoria’s online electrical permit application. MyCity allows certified electrical contractors in good standing with the Technical Safety BC to apply for electrical permits in a timely and convenient manner. The building owner may also apply for annual operating permits online.

Once the permit is applied for, a permit number will be issued to the applicant and the permit can be viewed in MyCity along with all other permits held by the account holder.

Please note the following application conditions:

• Users must have a MyCity profile.
• Home owners cannot apply on line at this time. Homeowners applying for electrical permits must do so in person at City Hall, 1 Centennial Square.
• All *mandatory fields must be completed.
• Drawings or calculations may be required. These may be requested after your application has been submitted.
• Payment by credit card is required to complete the application process.
