The 2022 Tailings and Mine Waste Conference is hosted by the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at Colorado State University. The Conference is being planned as a hybrid event such that students and professionals engaged in mine waste from all over the world have the opportunity to participate. The in-person conference will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency – Denver Tech Center in Denver, Colorado during November 6-9, 2022.

The Conference provides a forum for presenting the state-of-art and state-of-practice with respect to mill tailings and mine waste, as well as to discuss current and future issues facing the mining and environmental communities. The program will include keynote lectures and technical sessions by practitioners and recognized experts in mine waste. The Conference also will include exhibits by vendors and consultants, and short courses.
